Most of the day was spent in transit from Rome to Naples.
Our train to Naples was 43 minutes late. but the Italians on the train have less patience than our dog Eleanor waiting for scraps of human food. They do not care to wait for you to maneuver a heavy bag through the small lines or waiting for you to get off the train
It was very difficult to find the Airbnb that we had booked. First it was hard to find the place to find information to buy the local train tickets, then it was hard to find the local trains, then the local trains had to wait 10 minutes for every Neopolitan to board, then once we got off the train, we had to carry our bags down the stairs 200 hundred feet, then we were were lost a little, and then we had to push our bags up another 200 feet of winding stairs.
After taking a lengthy nap, we went to a recommended pizza place about 8 minutes walking from the Airbnb.
We woke up around 8:30am and had breakfast with Emilia. Breakfast was good, and today, she was kind enough to buy eggs, so we could make more eggs since we had finished the limited supply we had purchased. After breakfast, we spent some time packing before our check-out time of 10am. Since we had some time to kill before our 12:26 train from Rome to Naples, we went back to La Cannoleria Siciliana to share one of their delicious chocolate covered cannolis, alongside a cappucino. Yum!

Our first reaction to Naples is that we feel like it is 1000% less touristy than Rome. As we were eating dinner, our soundtrack was the constant flow of young scooter riders, who were filling the streets and even the sidewalks, with seemingly no destination in mind.
We went back to the Airbnb and watched part of the Cubs game and the Man in the High Castle before going to sleep.
